Frigiliana is 8km inland from Nerja, on a hillside with views all the way to the coast. It wins awards as the best-kept village in Andalucía, and the old town earns them: whitewashed alleys, bougainvillea, Moorish fountains — the kind of place that still looks like it did fifty years ago.
