Frigiliana

A Moorish hill village 8km from the sea

Frigiliana is 8km inland from Nerja, on a hillside with views all the way to the coast. It wins awards as the best-kept village in Andalucía, and the old town earns them: whitewashed alleys, bougainvillea, Moorish fountains — the kind of place that still looks like it did fifty years ago.

Beaches

From Frigiliana to Nerja

Frigiliana has no beach, but Nerja's beaches are 15 minutes by car. Ask us about the route via the coast road.

Where to eat

El Jardín

Terrace restaurant in the old town. The best view of the valley while you eat.

La Bodeguilla de en Medio

Tapas and local wine. Go at lunch when the terrace is in the shade.

Bodega El Trapiche

Family winery with tastings and cheese. A short drive from the village.
